Mary Catherine Archer 12/25/1936 – 1/23/2022 On January the 23rd, 2022, our precious mother left us to meet Jesus. Mom turned 85 this past Christmas Day and she will be forever missed by her family and friends. Mom was a loving and humble person and always put her children first. Mom’s service will be held on Wednesday, January 26, at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and the funeral at 1:00 p.m., with Bro. Jerry Hester officiating. The burial will be in the Holland / Community Cemetery, Tuscumbia. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Archer; and sons, Bobby “Bob” and Thomas “Uncle Tom” Archer. She is survived by her daughters, Debra Jones (Dwight), Jane Elom (Perry), and Frankie Archer; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Terry, Kenny, Kris, Austin, and Scott Archer, and Matt Elom. Our family would like to extend a special thank you to Kindred Hospice for their loving care that was given to our mother. A double thank you to Breanne Russell and Mom’s caretakers. My Mother She was a woman like no other. She gave me life, taught me, dressed me, fought for me. There is nothing like a Mother’s Love. I love you, Mama!
